Terms of Service

1. The service

BoardSimple provides public roadmap, feedback board, and changelog hosting for startups and small product teams. Features, pricing, and availability may change as the product improves.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You may use BoardSimple to collect feedback, share roadmaps, and publish updates. You may not use it to:

• Post unlawful, abusive, hateful, or harmful content.
• Harass individuals or collect data without a lawful basis.
• Attempt to break security, overload systems, or interfere with other users.
• Upload malicious code or scrape content without permission.

4. User submissions

Ideas, votes, and comments submitted to your public board are visible to you as the board owner and, depending on your settings, may be publicly visible on your roadmap. You are responsible for moderating content published on your own board.

5. Payment and billing

BoardSimple is offered on a flat subscription basis with optional add-ons. Payments are handled by Stripe. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable unless required by law. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6. Data and export

You own the content you create on your board. We provide an export feature in the dashboard so you can download your feedback posts, votes, and changelog entries at any time. You are not locked into BoardSimple.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or for non-payment. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your public board may become unavailable and data may be deleted in accordance with our retention practices.

8. Limitation of liability

BoardSimple is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated to active users.
